Halloween is the time where traditionally people put out pumpkin lamps to guide the spirits back to their home.

Each year starts at Samhain with the Goddess as the Crone or "Wise One", at this time of year the veils between the worlds of the living and the dead are thinnest. This is the time to invite the spirits of loved ones past into the home. The God commences the "Wild Hunt" and with his riders and hounds collects up the souls of those who linger or are unwary. The hunt continues throughout the winter months.
